Behavior of Sheep

-Sheep are social animals with an instinct to flock together for survival and well-being.

-One of more sheep become leaders and all others follow.

-Sheep use a variety of vocalizations to communicate including bleats, baas, and grunts and also use body language -ear position and tail wagging to convey messages.

-The Leader Sheep can recognize the shepherds voice and will follow him. All others will follow after the leaders.

-Sheep are curious and investigate new objects and easily become lost.

-A lamb that wanders off can become lost just by losing sight of the others. A lamb will stay there bleating until someone finds it.
