Rachel felt that the Lord always seemed to answer Mary’s prayers. She and her family had car trouble on a family vacation and went to church. There happened to be a mechanic that helped them repair their car. Rachel heard about that and said to herself, “Heavenly Father always seems to answer her prayers but not mine.” Soon after, she found herself with a flat tire and difficulties and a mechanic happened to be nearby and helped her replace her tire. She felt like it was Heavenly Father saying, “I hear your prayers too.”
Mary struggled with infertility. We had a family sealing session at the Provo temple while she was living in Idaho. Dad asked the sealer if we could pray as a family in the sealing room. He knelt and prayed that she would be able to have children. Within a couple of months, she was pregnant with Abby.
