Humility, Focusing on Basics, Prayer

Melanie Downs father-in-law really wanted to swim across the English Channel. He trained and trained and practiced at Alcatraz. He paid for a boat to follow him while he swam and confirm he didn't have help. Part way though, the captain of the boat told his wife that he was swimming poorly and he'd give him another hour or two to feel like he had accomplished something then probably need to pull him out of the water. She went to the bottom of the boat and prayed and felt impressed to tell him to focus on his form. She yelled to him to focus on his swim form (the basics). He listened to his wife and despite trying to swim through jellyfish and waves, the captain came two hours later. His wife thought he was coming to tell her he would be pulling him out but instead he said he had never seen this before, but he was swimming as well as when he first started. He ended up completing the swim and swimming across the entire English Channel! What if his wife hadn't listened to the Spirit? What if he hadn't listened to his wife? What can we do when the waters get choppy?
