Of all the tests we face, none hurts more than the death of a loved one or the misery of sin. “And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities.
Now the Spirit knoweth all things; nevertheless the Son of God suffereth according to the flesh that he might take upon him the sins of his people, that he might blot out their transgressions according to the power of his deliverance; and now behold, this is the testimony which is in me” (Alma 7:12–13).
Consecration thoughts:
-Shift from how much do I need to give to how much can I give? From what laws do I have to keep to how can I better keep God's laws.
-Example of a woman's sacrifice to raise her children as an example. It made me think of the worth of each of their souls in God's eyes. What price do you pay for a soul of infinite worth?

-This made me want to sit down and write out ideas of how I can use my gifts and circumstances to better build God's kingdom.
-I also appreciate eat thought that we are practicing to keep these covenants It gives me hope to become better. I am admittedly and of shallow and vain so hopefully, my efforts will help me overcome these tendencies.
