President M. Russel Ballard said, "In turbulent and frightening times, the Savior's promise of infinite and eternal peace resonates with special power to us, just as His ability to calm the crashing waves must have profoundly affected those who were with Him on the Sea of Galilee that stormy night... There are many among us who look for physical peace and prosperity as signs of the Savior's wondrous power...the everlasting peace that the Savior promises is an inner peace, born in faith...and expressed through continual obedience and repentance. It is peace of spirit that echos through the heart."
The only thing we need to fear is unrepented sin.
I Can Sleep When the Wind Blows
President Nelson calm during airplane crash experience, not fearing death. "If you have faith, you can handle difficulties knowing with an eternal perspective all will be well. Men's hearts failing them for fear....Demand of yourself improvement.... Let the Lord help you...gospel of Jesus Christ allows me that kind of strength in these tumultuous times."
Praying for son's heart to be softened.
My experience of feeling disappointed with myself. "Believe me. I've used imperfect people. I can use you."
Sometimes God helps us and comforts us in small ways. I Feel My Savior's Love. When the sun shines through the clouds. Be aware. Every time I see the sun shining through the clouds I feel God's love.

Howard W. Hunter- Master the Tempest is Raging
“I have always tried to believe on Christ and give the Master a consecrated life,” she said, “but this is more than I can bear. What have I done to deserve this? What have I left undone that God should wreak His vengeance upon me in this way?” (Ernest K. Emurian, Living Stories of Famous Hymns, Boston: W. A Widdle Co., 1955, pp. 83–85.)
Master, the tempest is raging!
The billows are tossing high!
The sky is o’ershadowed with blackness.
No shelter or help is nigh.
Carest thou not that we perish?
How canst thou lie asleep
When each moment so madly is threatening
A grave in the angry deep?
Master, with anguish of spirit
I bow in my grief today.
The depths of my sad heart are troubled.
Oh, waken and save, I pray!
Torrents of sin and of anguish
Sweep o’er my sinking soul,
And I perish! I perish! dear Master.
Oh, hasten and take control!
Then this beautiful, moving refrain:
The winds and the waves shall obey my will;
Peace, be still! Peace, be still!
Whether the wrath of the storm-tossed sea
Or demons or men or whatever it be,
No waters can swallow the ship where lies
The Master of ocean and earth and skies.
They all shall sweetly obey my will.
Peace, be still! Peace, be still!
They all shall sweetly obey my will.
Peace, peace, be still!
Too often, I fear, both in the living of life and in the singing of this hymn, we fail to emphasize the sweet peace of this concluding verse:
Master, the terror is over.
The elements sweetly rest.
Earth’s sun in the calm lake is mirrored,
And heaven’s within my breast.
Linger, Oh, blessed Redeemer!
Leave me alone no more,
And with joy I shall make the blest harbor
And rest on the blissful shore.
He would seek out those. He knows what they're feeling. The leaper, the woman that touches the hem of his garments. "unclean, unclean" and have people leave.
Faith - recording small stories of faith, write down the things that happen to you. The small stories of faith. Notice the small things. Things people say. The Lord will bring all things to your remembrance. I need to leave a written story so my children and my grandchildren will read it and know. -Sister Fox
Search and rescue truck pulling up to help Fox's. Spiritually do we have the tools and strength to help spiritually stranded people.
Recognize the hand of God in our trails. Thanks Heavenly Father. After we've experienced His help in the past, we can be a little more calm in facing trials.
Less and less astonished at miracles. Then it doesn't have the permanency unless we humbly acknowledge God.
"His promise made long ago. Promise kept." - Gethsemane song
McConkie: "Faith, righteousness, and the hope of eternal salvation are not confined to members of the [House of Israel]. Manifesting faith greater than any therefore exhibited to Jesus by Israel, this Gentile centurion prevailed upon the Master to heal a beloved servant without so much as having our Lord come to the sick bed. The centurion reasoning-profound logic, perfect in showing forth faith-was to this effect: If, I, a mere officer in the Roman Army, must obey my superiors, and also have power myself to send others forth at my command, then surely the Lord of all needs but speak and His will shall be done."
Pray to know how to search the scriptures.

In raising the widow's son from the dead, he showed compassion for the one. He doesn't care how you look, how old, how young, how educated. He knows her fears.
